The homework is science, its titled Get the measure of it. It lists things and you have to say how you would measure it and in what units. i.e.

Time - Stopwatch/Clock - Hours,Minutes,Seconds
Length - Tape Measure - CM,MM
Force - velocity
Mass/Weight - Scales - kilograms, grams

Light -
Sound - decibels
Capacity -

sorry mate only think of two I think angles is that semi circle thing but cant remember what its called

So

Time - Stopwatch/Clock - Hours,Minutes,Seconds
Length - Tape Measure - CM,MM
Force - ??? - Newtons
Mass/Weight - Scales - kilograms, grams
Angle - Degrees - Protractor
Light -
Sound - Decibels - Decibel Scale (check that, its like a little machine)
Capacity -
Temperature - Thermometer - Celsius,Fahrenheit

I need light and Capacity, only i think.

For force i went with Newton Scale and Newtons, she said that when they learnt about these things she was out the classroom, rehearsing for the school play........... And they didnt even give her a fact sheet, same as last week, they forgot to give her a fact sheet and i had to do some plant stuff. Schoolwork is way to hard.

Can you not measure capacity by using water? Pretty sure in Sciene thats how we did it. Measuring jug with water in, put something in it and measure the increase.

this homework shinanigans is piss take, teachers get all that time off yet expect us to teach them when we are off.

i had to "help" my daughter construct a pyramid earlier fron a sheet of card. firstly try to find stiff card thats suitable, then all the stuff for holding it together, draw it out, and tbh you have to be pretty geometrically correct or it doesnt turn out right, then "she" had to make the thing. it took us a while tbh, then she had to decorate it. i'm cross as anythin' here
