Ok, here goes, im a PC nerd, i play online games in online leagues and cups, me and my team have been playing together for over 6 years, we have spoke on the phone and ofc voice comms, but the lad from Latvia is coming to the UK in December so we are gonna have a nerd trip out.
The plan is 2 nights in a hotel, 1 night in the casino and 1 night watching Everton smash Chelsea, then go-karting. Being "a local", i have been asked to sort out the Hotel, Casino and go-karting and also the nighttime boogie spots.
So my questions are, what are good hotels in Liverpool? I mean ive checked out the formula1 and it looks cheap, but ive heard its utter rank, i looked at the Adelphi and it looks well posh and very dear. I also looked at the Radisson and that also looked dear. I saw there were a few travelinns that were priced inbetween these 2 hotels and from experience they are always nice and tidy. We aint gonna be spening much time in the hotel, but would be nice to have a little comfort and having never stayed in a hotel in Liverpool was wondering if anybody could suggest 1 and if the dear 1s are worthwhile.
Also i got my eye on the Leo Casino and that seems to be pretty decent, but i cant recall seeing many others around town, not that ive ever looked in fairness, i mean theres the 1 next to the Grafton but that just looks crap.
So yea, Hotels and Casinos in Town please and also what good places is there to drink in town these days, last time i went out i saw a few ppl get bottled and about 50 fights, is that just par for the course?
