right-click on the gif, copy image location and insert as image here.

gifs are great for the Ale House, but probably not that great in the other forums.

It's a host issue usually. Very few sites actually work for linking on this site. I post very few because of the hassle involved

A pin at the side of a thread does what it says on the tin mate. The thread's pinned, sometimes known as stickied, so it appears at the top of the forum.

So if you go to the Everton forum at https://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/forums/everton-forum.2/ you'll see at the top, 4 or 5 threads all with a pin next to them.

They increase traffic and people clicking adverts too.
