Player Valuation: Free Transfer
Between Fox Soccer and Setanta, I can catch almost every Everton game over here (USA) ~ now that is a $30 month premium over the cost of basic DirectTV. Is Everton on broadcast (free) TV or basic cable in England? Just curious..

neither, there are games televised by sky and setanta, having neither im not the person to inform you correctly. that said, they dont always have the everton games, so it can still be difficult to catch the blues on tv.

I pay for DSTV which gives me like a fuckload of channels and included in that is a about 8 sports channels and ESPN. Those 8 sports channels show 80% of the games that are ever on, sometimes even 3 games at a time. So if I dont get a game Im usually just really unfortunate

It costs about £30 a month for Sky, which show the majority of the games.

Certain games (like tonights V city for instance) are only shown on Setanta, which involves another £10 a month premium. They get 46 games a season.

I think certain people can get Setanta for 'free' if they are on the top cable package (something like £20 per month).

I have Sky but no Setanta.

A nice excuse to get to the boozer tonight then.

On the downside, the mrs is a city fan and she insists on coming too.....

Thanks -

I rolled around the toffeeweb.com forum for a bit, but since that went away, this is my first foray back in the boards business...

Incidentally, I met Steve Seargent (sp?) the other day, he's a coach for the Uber Elite Youth Teams 'round here and his grandson is on my indoor team (y)
