How influential will the vote be?

Just thinking out loud. It seems clear that the board wish to move to Kirkby. If the majority of votes goes against the move however, what will happen there? Are the club resting the entire decision on the outcome of the vote or will they merely use the outcome of the vote as the next stage of the PR campaign?

Just wondering what will happen if they don't get the result they're hoping for.

If the vote goes heavily enough against them that they have to drop Kirkby, they have the public backing of voters and councillors in black and white to force some kind of popular resolution from LCC.

The Deal will be signed in September regardless of the vote, but I hope the vote goes in favour of the move anyway to be honest. It is the best thing for our future that is possible. Wipe our hands of LCC and stay strong and independent and as someone has said elsewhere, WE WILL ALWAYS BE THE PRIDE OF LIVERPOOL AND MERSEYSIDE.

Exactly I can't see it being a problem. We need to move ahead and this is the fastest & best way for us in the near term. To good to be true. I think when this is accomplished we will all fall in line and reap the benefits.

Reading the official website today it sounds like a no vote spells the end of the project. That's a very bold move by the board.

There will be an absence of a NO vote I believe. Especially as we all know there is no other option. Bold but a calculated gamble also.
