How long till our team will be like this?

- - - - - - - Howard - - - - - - -

Jagielka - Yobo - Lescott - Baines

Arteta - - - Gravesen - - Osman

- - - - - - - Cahill - - - - - - -

Johnson - - - - - - - - - Yakubu
(preferably vaughan - imo)- (preferably anichebe - imo)

Bench - Wessels, stubbs, pienaar, vaughan, anichebe

Im scared of losing against Metalist in the next leg, because of the team we have got avadible to us. But looking at this team...im not scared, i belive as soon as cahill is bakc arteta and cahill will make the partnership of the premiership. I think as soon as vaughan comes back we will have a striker who has the ability to be better than johnson and yakubu within a year or two, same with anichebe. And gravesen, he cahanged the bolton match for us, i think he will be great with arteta and cahill in the midfield.

This team is strong...

...So back to the question, How long until the team will be like this?

Pienaar for Osman.

And Yakubu and AJ should be first choice no matter what.

people thinking vaughan and victor are better :o

jags right back not to sure on that but he is better then hibbo!! (and i do love the lad living the dream!!!!!) but in jan we need to get a baines type player at right back!!!!!!

otherwise it looks good to me!!!!

arent they?,

Vaughan - faster than AJ, more determinatin, more ambition (for the club ), ambitious shots (volley and over head kick Vs Chelsea), and more skillfull.

Anichebe - Uses his strength better than Yakubu, has more passion, has better and more powerful shots, better with the long balls, faster.

Both of them have passion and determination, they do not want to see everton lose as an everton fan, johnson might do, but does yakubu? so far Beattie in his last few weeks has been better than yakubu in his last 3 matches

The only reason why johnson and yakubu are considered better is because they have expiereince, more mature, and less naive, and tehrefore dont panick as much, but with a couple of starts for the youngsters that could easily be gotten rid of

First of all the comparision of AJ and Vaughan isnt really fair as they arent like each other, but if i wanted a player in my team id much rather have AJ, i'm not a massive fan of Vaughan, personally i think hes over-hyped and after Rooney we just want another hero to adore, AJ is much faster then Vaughan, i can honestly say that i've never seen Vaughan have the turn of pace like AJ or the lightning pace AJ has to burn, i've never seen Vaughan run that fast, more ambition ay? well thats funny because whenever i have seen AJ play, his will power to do well for the club shines through, hes always acknowledged the fans and gives his all to do the best for this club, just check out his celebrations. I dont like to **** off a player but id rather have AJ then Vaughan, simply because well AJ is better lol.

And making the point of Anichebe being better then Yakubu, i think Anichebe is a good player but hes no where near the effective player when hes a starter, hes much better coming on to change the game, give the game a different feel to it, but no way is he better then the Yak, maybe because the Yak has proved time and time again that he can compete in this top league, his average goals a season is brilliant and i very much doubt that Vic will even come close to scoring half as much as Yak has done over the years, no offence to the lad but his finishing is no where near Prem standard, i'll give you the point that Anichebe uses his strength but i wouldnt say alot more, Yak proved against United that he can more then handle the top central defenders, and powerful finishing? remember his goal against us for Pompey, id actually rate that finish one of the best ive seen, the last point is pace, ive never really again seen a burst of pace by Vic like ive seen Yak do time and time again, he is lightening quick when he wants to be is the Yak and every defender knows hes in for a tough time when he faces him because he has all the attributes that is needed to be a brilliant striker.

I rate both kids but i dont think there no where near the standard to lead our forward line in what is to become a massive season for us, in Europe and in consistently stating our ambition to become a top 6 club.

Wasnt expecting an essay back! Fair enough, yak is better than anichebe, but the past 3 matches? he hasnt had a shot that lifted from teh ground, he doesnt chase after the ball like johnson vaughan and anichebe does...i think we will need a bit of moyesey magic to transform him to eb a great player, but saying that, give anichebe a chance he can also be great for everton, wins penalties, irritates defenders, gets flick ons etc...he just needs to work on some aspects like fitness and touch.

And vaughan he does have alot of pace and unlike johnson he will actually shoot. Also johnson may have tons of determination, i love that about him and any player, but when will he learn that he cannot run down the wings, hes got to stay in the centre!!!

But AJ's job is to be the workhorse if you know what i mean, and Yak is there to lead the line, and finish everything off.

Anichebe is ineffective when starting me thinks, hes fantastic sometimes when he comes on.

ps - sorry about the essay, was explaining my views

Just thought about it now, the partnership of AJ and vaughan, It would be great, i wtched it in the nothern ireland match, and they played great together, great passing, dummies, and they both new what to do...would be a partnership of pace...

The same was said about AJ and Yak after Bolton myself until Neville is taken out of mid field and Hibbet droped it wont make much difference,is it true Nevilles in the team until he can pass top another blue shirt because Moyes is determined to see him improve

Here bloody here Cal!

AJ and Yakubu are our best strikers without a doubt there is no comparison with Vic and Vaughan The Yak has had what 3 games for us and everyone is saying he's a lazy as [Poor language removed] and does [Poor language removed] all I can't believe it.

If I recall correctly Drogba moved to Chelsea and got called the exact same names that people are calling Yakubu. Would they call Drogba lazy now? I doubt it, Yakubu imo just has to bed into the squad he's a world class striker who was bought to score goals not chase aimless long balls.

Feed the Yak and he will score.
