How much in the summer?

New to this forum so hello. Im a blue for merseyside , work for armed forces , currently deployed.

Was thinking last night apparently we got £100m to spend this summer, but heres a question, if we sell Lukaku and Stones surely we wont be far of £100 million in terms of there transfer fees, assuming now we have some financial clout the days of 5 million down payment and half a mil here and there if the player goes on to do this and that for his new club are well behind us. So we should get full market value for both upfront.

So if those two do go, then that’s £200 million to spend right? £100m for Lukaku and Stones and then £100m of the new co-owner?
 
Was also thinking about Ibrahimovic. Im not saying that he would choose to come to Everton but he wants £300k a week to play in England next year. Nearly fell of my seat when i read that, but actually its not bad in modern football. Granted he is 34 but hes still world class.

Thats £15m a year so say Everton sold Lukakau for £70m whos wages are estimated to be around £4m a year.

So off set Lukakas wages,he would cost £11m for one season, but think about the statement that would make. An Iconic player like Ibrahimovic would attract better players, the marketing dept will be maxed out the ground would be packed to the rafters to see him week in week out.

And there would be plenty of money to buy a younger more long term replacement. a new Lukakau if you like.

Just a thought like......an unlikely one.... Of course hes more likely to go to somewhere like United who would sell 60 million shirts with his name on the back!
 
I'll believe it when we spend it. Seems unreal for us to be talking of spending that amount. Anyway we won't spend £200m even if they go as I can't see us signing that many players, we won't be spending £40m-£50m on one player I don't think and I can't see us signing massive amounts of players in one go unless we get rid of Martinez.
 
Yeah i doubt it to, I was just thinking because i read we had 100 mil 'cash injection' (sky sports favorite expression) but was wondering if that was taking into account sales.

There will be some wages freed up this summer to if howard piennar lukaku and anyone else goes...
