Player Valuation: £40m
Where about are you from?:
Grew up in Florida, moved to Texas after I finished college. I don't own a gun, drive a pickup truck or speak with a twang, and the wife and I desperately want to leave. Really we belong in another country, but that isn't going to happen. (We were planning to visit London this spring and I was all set to go to Palace away. Instead we're having a kid.)

How did you find these forums?:
Went looking for Everton blogs and websites. Found this site and liked the conversation.

How did you become an Evertonian?:
Combination of not being a glory hunter, history of American players (thank God I didn't pick Fulham) and parallels to the baseball team I support. The Tampa Bay Rays are broke but still get good results and the Rays > Red Sox > Yankees relationship is not unlike Everton > Liverpool > ManU.

Your all-time favourite Everton player?:
Either Duncan Ferguson or Tim Cahill.

Your current favourite player?:
Deulofeu. Love me a player who can get a good ball in.

Unsolicited Tim Howard opinion:
He is past it and needs replacing. Most (not all) American Evertonians would agree with this. But the whole defensive setup is terrible. Because of that I think Joel will struggle too, given a proper run of games. And I can't get behind slating long-serving players for having the nerve to get old. Happened to Neville, happened to Distin, almost happened to Barry before he came good this year, happened to Osman and Hibbo, happening to Howard now, and it's going to start happening to Jagielka pretty soon. Aging players don't get this much abuse in the US - that's reserved for the manager who didn't plan ahead and keeps using them. I think that's one reason why Howard is reacting so badly.

Pineapple on Pizza, Is it socially acceptable? What are your views?:
Pizza is great. Put whatever you want on it. I personally don't go for pineapple, but my wife likes it.

This was a lot of words, I'm sorry everyone.

Welcome mate. You already talk more sense than most people in the transfer thread, so keep posting !

Welcome mate.
Talks alot of sense - more than most! Totally agree with his ageing players comments, but has always happened. Remember Reid and Ratcliffe getting stick from their crowd as they faded, I mean how great were they for us? Goes to show the ruthless nature of football I suppose
