Ah, my favorite ex story.

Goes like this. We're driving on the interstate downtown, she sees this billboard for a show (we went to a lot of concerts), and says, "Look, it's Bret Michaels, the country music singer."

I'm like, "What, Bret Michaels, the lead singer of Poison?"

She goes off, many words AndyC would not approve of are exchanged, and finally she pulls out the phone and looks it up on the Interwebs.

He is, of course, both.

It more or less encapsulated the unbridgable divide.
