The only good thing about channel 5 was Pat Nevin. He's one of, if not the best, footballing pundits out there imo. He does not get nearly enough work though.

We were usually ace at the start, but it was always guaranteed to end in a very avoidable defeat in the knockout rounds. Usually on pens.

I miss it too! Except any time we went to Lisbon, bad vibes from that place....

But we did have some amazing moments in the competition in recent times, anyone recall the mighty SK Brann? good fun them lot.

I really miss European home games. You can't beat the feeling you get when your beating a team you've never heard of about 5-0 and their fans are singing "your sh*t and you know you are". Classic moments and i miss them badly.

I miss euopa league football, but someone people on here would argue we over-acheived to get into europe and our god manager is suffering from a small blip in his grand plans by not getting us into europe last year
