at 7pm thurday night i arrived at lanzarote airport for a 2 hour wait to get on a 4 hour flight to manchester

there i was in my best everton shirt at lanzarote airport and no tvs could be found, no probs i thought as i had a radio in my pocket so on the plane it should work nar wrong tone

never mind tone i think when we get nearer to england i should be able to get scores on the radio wrong again tone

we land at 2am friday morning threw customs and outside, im think the first human i see im gonna ask, at 2.45 am i go over to an airpost bus driver "did you hear the score mate"

he tells me what happend and i instantly dismiss it as a wind up, wrong again tone

4.30 am i read teletext

I was stuck in the N east of Uk in an area that had no tv coverage, relied on teletext initially but couldn't even find the team news, it wasn't given. I eventually ended up listening to Radio 5 live who announced at 8.25 thatr our ko had been put back 30 mins, they never gave the team.

Much to my annoyance Radio 5 broadcast the same match that was on ITV 4. thats right the bloody Spurs game. They managed to let the world know about our game on four occasions, I only found out about the second penalty miss on Friday. All in all I'd have been better off in Alice Springs than the bloody UK and why the BBC broadcast a commentary on a game that is live on TV is mind boggling!:angry: :angry: :angry: :angry:

puerto del carmen
brilliant place but it was too hot mate
we got burnt, the wind fooled us and it was hard to get to sleep even with loads of ale lol

September was unbearable last year, it take its a hot one again this year.
