Nobody.

I don't want to do anything like anybody else...
I don't want to have the same success as anybody else.

I am an individual and I want my uniqueness to be the reason for my existence, not something else.

...see, it's not working.

That's you though mate. :)

I was just sitting in work today (and it's going better at the moment), but some of the thoughts that are flying around the room is how can we be like this company. In terms of design and how they operate. Just got me thinking that many companies who are successful are successful because of their uniqueness. Both in design and how they operate.

Felt that we are kind of losing sight of what being a designer is all about.

I always wanted to be a designer like Hillman Curtis, and then Dan Cederholm. But I want to be me, and maybe that is why I have not succeeded as how I would have liked.

Worth pondering I feel.

Frankie and Benny's also is a good example, tend to take bits from all the other companies in their field and serve up that. Not much individuality, although they put their own stamp on things - by branding up with lies, they are in essence just doing what all other companies are already doing.

:lol::lol:
Stop teasing my Ghosty wosty.:P

I'm quite happy being me, but it would be nice to have another shot at being a young me.

Regarding companys, what is key is service, and quality of product.
Price isn't always a factor.
