I feel exactly the same and I know the club will have taken this into account when negotiating the fee and pushed for as much as they can get but...I will forever feel that £26m is just not enough for Gueye. Just think he’s worth a lot more to us.

Unpopular for a reason
Can't begrudge him the move if it happens, kept his head down and just got on with his job admirably and he will be a massive miss. Hope it doesn't turn out to be the way, but lollollol if we knew it was going to happen and brought Delph in as his replacement.
He really doesn’t get too dispossessed too often and his passing accuracy is one of the highest in our side. Just think saying he’s not good on the ball is a bit of a lazy argument against him as we’re comparing his ability on the ball against how good he is off of it, an area where he’s one of the best in the world imo.

Yup. I like to think we have a bit more about us in the transfer market these days and I truly believe we do, but if for whatever reason Delph does end up as his direct replacement then regardless of how many titles he’s won and how good he looked on Netflix we really deserve to not kick on into those consistent European places and we still haven’t learnt our lesson.

Some may say Delph played a part in City winning the league etc, but at the end of the day he only made 57 prem league apps for them in the 4 years he was there. He's an Everton player now so he gets my backing to the hilt, but he's nowhere as good as Gana.
