Apparently he's said England's downfall will be our keepers. May be true but where does he get off saying that?! I watch loads of Spanish football and as far as I can see he's Spains only weak link.

Needs to know when to shut up me thinks.
 

Spain has excellent keepers. Casillas, Reina, and Valdes are all better than any English keepers imo.
 
Oh come on, they're not that bad. Green always seems to do alright at international level


And Casillas is perhaps one of the best keepers in world football.

Bet Casillas makes at least 3 errors that lead to goals this summer.

Anyway, after tonight it's quite clear we should have Jamie Theakston in goal!
 
I'm sure everybody in Spain would disagree with you.

Reina's probably the best keeper in our League at the moment and he can't get a game for Spain.

I think the gross unbalance of power between clubs in spain does not help San Iker's ability to maintain razor sharp form. I watch a lot of La Liga due to my Spanish lady, & have been at times extremely impressed, borderline amazed. Unfortunately in league play he often goes entire matches w/o hardly being tested. Not easy to maintain top 3 in the world sharpness under those conditions. But also agree he's ridden his Euro glory a bit long now, entering into overrated territory soon if he fails to produce some magic this summer.
 
I hate to say it as he from them, but Reina is very good. So a keeper who has consistently kept Reina out of a national side is far from over rated!

I think Reine is obviously the best keeper in the PL, and whether he is the best spanish keeper? i dunno - Cass always strikes me as the Beckham of the spanish side, gets in on pedigree rather than form ( tin hat on! )

Yeah i'd go with this. Cassilas is very much a pretty boy keeper. I'm sure if he was under contant pressure he would crumble. Hopefully we'll see this in the World Cup.
Reina is good no doubt, as hard as it is to admit, but i think Hart may be Englands number one after this summer...for a very long time.
