I decided to give the EPL a go after how much fun it was watching the USMNT this year and a guy on Twitter recommended this site to me. Like everyone else in the USA (seriously, I suddenly have 7 Facebook friends that have "liked" Everton) I'm going with the Toffees because of Tim Howard. I have some experience because my girlfriend has long been a Chelsea fan that's been wanting me to join in too.

Excited for the start of play in a few weeks! I live 5 minutes away from where Liverpool will be playing AC Milan in a Champions Cup event here in Charlotte on August 2nd. We already have tickets, I take it I should pull for AC Milan? Looks like Suarez will still be suspended then, too bad, I was looking forward to booing him.

Any chance Everton comes to the United States any time soon?

Oh and I have to say the outreach by Evertonians on social media towards American fans has been outstanding. I know Everton is apparently up for sale, I know Michael Jordan has been interested in buying an overseas football club for a long time, maybe they could be a good fit.
