The next African Cup of Nations tournament takes place in January & February 2024, right in the middle of next season.

We could lose Iwobi, Gana Gueye and Doucoure, which leaves a gap in our midfield. Will be interesting to see if this impacts our business in any manner at all.

We can only hope our clown board don't defer any player recruitment for this scenario til January window. But we all know they will.

We could do with one or two midfielders already, looking at the contact length of our current midfielders and the instability of the Onana situation.

Nah, I Iwobi wants to leave and rather than getting nothing for him we can cash in, and have another player available for a key 10% of our schedule. Hes been good at times but from the sounds of it hes not interested in going again, and he wasnt the same in the last 15 matches of the season. He didnt step up like Pickford, Doucoure, Tarks, and McNeil.
