Inbox full - help needed

I click to empty my inbox but it still says I have 189 messages stored. How do I delete these stored messages?

You select the messages that you want to delete by clicking the box to the right of the title (select the box at the top of that column if you want to select all messages).

Then, at the bottom of the page, there is a button that allows you to choose an action that you wish to take on the messages that are selected. Click the button, and a menu list drops down with delete as one of the options. Choose delete and click the proceed button.

Then at the box in the bottom, check what option you want and click proceed:

Cheers lads but i've actually gone throught he process of deleting them from my inbox but it says I've got 189 messages stored (out of a total of 30 allowed, ha.)

I suppose D/D should be consulted then. Sounds a bit glitchy =S

Thanks again lads. I've just realised I had to click on 'sent messages' and delete those too (Doh)
