BBC SPORT | Football | My Club | Blackburn | Lowly Blackburn sack manager Ince

Blackburn have sacked manager Paul Ince after only three wins in 17 Premier League games left the club languishing second from bottom in the table.
Ince left MK Dons in June to join Blackburn but Rovers' last league win was at Newcastle on 27 September.
Chairman John Williams said: "Three wins in 17 games has seen a squad which finished seventh last season fall to 19th place.
"We are currently in danger of becoming detached from the pack."
The decision to sack Ince was taken after a Blackburn board meeting and Williams made it clear that the need to keep the club in the top flight was behind the move.
Former boss Graeme Souness is an early front-runner to take over, possibly assisted by veteran Blackburn midfield man Tugay.
Williams was publicly critical of Blackburn's display in what proved to be Ince's final game, the 3-0 defeat at Wigan on Saturday.
He added: "The survival of the club in the Premier League is paramount and our focus is on finding a replacement who will be able to maintain our top-division status.
"Paul will bounce back, he is a fighter and we wish him well."
A statement released on the Blackburn website said: "The board, having selected Paul Ince back in June, were desperate for him to succeed and wanted to give him as much time as possible in the unforgiving environment of the Premier League, where time is such a precious commodity."

Blackburn made a horrendous choice in Ince, I said so at the start of the season. Look at the players he brought in and got rid off? Robbie Fowler? MK Dons superstars. Bentley? Massive gamble (probably trying to copy the Moyes EFC model hahah) that backfired.

Out of his depth big time.

Never liked him to big headed, was shocked he got the job thought it was to early for him and he was left without the best man under Hughes in Bentley but its ruthless at all the premier clubs with us being the exception and we are not doing badly for sticking by the boss.

Irrespective of anyones opinion of Ince, (prat IMO), managers are given no time to get into a job and try to build. Does anyone else think it's time for a managers transfer window ?

Lost 6 on the bounce and look awful. So no a managers transfer window would be awful

If the board looked to recruit on experience and ability rather than just a 'name' and knew they would have to stick with their choice for the season then maybe some of these stupid appointments wouldn't happen in the first place. It's too easy for directors to bury a poor decision on their part by sacking the man they appointed in the first place.

Too much money in the game. They have acted now so they might stay up and keep the prem money.
If you have the transfer window no young manager will be given a chance
