Guys, being an Old Firm fan, it would be good to get some independent views from Everton fans on Rangers predicament surrounding fixtures. Weather cost us 3 games, the death of Phil O Donnell cost us 1 game and the postponement of 2 fixtures to help Scotland and Rangers cost us another 2 games meaning we have a fair backlog though mostly through unforseen circumstances.

Zenit have 11 days to prepare for the final as the Russian League has postponed their games to help them whereas Rangers fixtures look like this.

7th - Motherwell (h)
10th - Dundee Utd (h)
14th - UEFA Final
17th - Motherwell (a)
19th - St Mirren (a)
22nd - Aberdeen (a)
24th - Scottish Cup Final

As i say, it would be good to hear some independent views as the views of the Old Firm are strictly along the party lines.

Is it a disgrace or should Rangers just get on with it

Don't know if it's a disgrace but it's certainly an incredibly tough schedule. What is a disgrace is that it certainly wouldn't happen to any of the top 4 in England. Good luck. If you lose a couple on the trot it's when the players will really start to feel tired.

It happens, every year to one of the old firm depending on how successfull they are, the bitching from both sides get tiresome and i am a Celt! I think were you will run into trouble (hopefully) at the moment is with the amount of injuries you have to an already small squad, so fatiuqe will be a factor.

Well next year forfit the cup comps an just play in the league. Sucsesfull teams play lots of games. You cant help the weather an other stuff so just get on with it.

I hope that you go on to win the title because i absolutely despise Celtic, but i think it'll be tough winning your games in hand on such a tight schedule.But i also think that Zenit will beat you in the uefa final, they were by far the best team that we faced, any side that can demolish Bayern should be feared and respected.
