Whats your worst?

I fell off a bike and hit the side of my head (ear) on the corner off a wall, requiring a fair share of stitches. That was fairly painful. On my birthday too, devastating.

Also broke my hand playing football. Went up for a header, somehow my thigh ended up on the shoulder off a 6ft+, 15+ stone lad (I'm a short arse, no idea how I managed, sort of climbed), headed it in, but in the process fell down the back of him, as he stumbled back he stood on my hand as it was twisted). Carried on too, I'm 'ard me. Well, for 2 minutes before the referee spotted the blood.

Other than that, I haven't had any injuries really.

Tempting fate here though, watch me had a serious one soon

Never broke any bones or needed stitches. My worst is torn cartilage and ligaments in my knee. Knee's never been right since despite 2 arthroscopys

Never Broken anything, badly hurt my ankle in footy once, then about a month later it was good enough to play again and then some idiot hacked me down.

Never broke any of the larger bones, so i dont know what it feels klike to break a leg etc "touch wood", but i pitty anyone who breaks their clavical, collar bone to those that dont know. Not only is it agonising, but you cant sleep properly for around three weeks. You cant sleep on your back, you cant sleep on your injured side obviously and you cant sleep on your uninjured side. Bleeding awful injury to endure. Dont think it's the worst injury pain wise but amongst the worst when it comes to feeling lengthy comfort.

Broke my wrist twice. The first time i slipped while chasing a ball down in the corner and just landed funny on it and the same wrist again in footy, I charged down a shot and put my hands up to cover my face and it just bent my wrist back and snapped it clean. Much more painfull the 2nd time.

Ive broken my arm when i was about 14, was going down a very steep hill and put my feet down to stop, the pedal hit my calf and i went over the top. I had to ride my bike back home, 1 handed and it was a good 4miles. Didnt hurt as much as i thought it would. When i got home i told my Mum, she looked at it and said it was fine, i just went upstairs and played on my speccy or something.

When she came to bed she looked at it again, it was about 4 times the normal size, so off we went to hospital. I broke it 4 places, bend it in 2, needed an operation. The horrible thing is, i broke it 3 days into the 6 week school holiday and the plaster came off 2 days before we went back to school. I was gutted.

I also stuck a glass testtube through my hand in science, need 12 stitches, got a lovely scar.

Nasty incident on your bike mate but you where a hard knock then going up to your bedroom to play on your spectrum. Footballers these days are out for three weeks with a cold.

On the test tube incident, was that an accident or was you experimenting.

I have never done anything major, tho i thoroughly expect to break something before i die. Hopefully it will happen sooner than later so i can heal better!

Worst I did was run into a 1st floor window, cutting my arm and requiring 19 stitches. The most painful part was sitting in casualty for a couple hours, holding my arm above my head while i waited for a surgeon to become available!! Then got released at 6am in the morning in the middle of december, wearing only a t-shirt with no money for a cab :( Me and my mate had to wald across half of birmingham, got back to halls just in time for breakfast. Good for sympathy tho!! (y)b)

Had one friend who did a similar thing to Danny playong for basketball. Went to block someones shot from the side, they stepped forwards and his feet got caught on their arm/shoulder, while the top half of his body kept going. Ended up landing head first, knocking himself out. Lay on the floor and stared twitching after a few secs. We've got it on video, pretty phreaky!! He was fine after... nice scar tho!! (y)

* Bit a hole in my tounge when my chin decided to smash onto my knee whist attempting to land sommersault from a roof/shelter
* 6 stitches above left eye due to a house brick gettin launched at me
* Fractured both wrists (footy/squash)
* Broke right foot (a kerb whils pissed)
* Snapped ankle ligiments an Aug (Its still not right!!)
* Numerous badly sprained ankles (and a badly underestimated injury these are)
* Cracked a rib from snowboardin 2 weeks ago

All in all, i'd like to think these are minor and fingers crossed nothin major happens.:)

Well, when i first went in my Mum was watching Eastenders, so she didnt really paymuch attention, i said i fell off my bike and it hurt, so she just glanced at it. But then when she was going to bed i was watching Prisoner Cell Block H, i made her wait till that was finished before i went the Hospital.

The science 1 was quite funny, i was putting some rubber thing on the end of some long testtube and it just snapped in half and went right through my hand. That didnt hurt, but there was blood everywhere. I was rock hard back then tho, now a days i get a splinter and i want a Doctor.

Paper cut just after finishing eating salt and vinegar crisps.

I win. I am hard. I am a hero.

I cried quietly when no one was looking.
