Sharpys top lip

Player Valuation: £60m
Right i need to renew my car insurace, not sure who to go with. Who is every one with an are they any good. Iv been with Zurich for 5 years an never claimed. This year they put my insurance up!! cheeky ****s....

Iv been on confused.com an theirs well better policys around.SO spill the beans who you with..??

Compare the meerkats.com

Well ive been with Tesco for years now, but insurance is a complete rip off. I always change my home insurance they put it up every year so i go with different companys every year. Last year i was with Tesco, but this year when i got my renewal it was nearly £100 more, so i rang Halifax for a quote, i saved the £100, but when i rang up Tesco to cancel, they bettered the Halifax quote. I ended up saving £150 all told.

So i learnt a valuable lesson, NEVER EVER accept a renewal, shop around, find better quotes, then go back to your original insurer, you will find they will try and match or better any quotes you have. They are just robbing bastards.

Ive been with Morethan, Tesco, Halifax and Direct Line, ive found them the cheapest. But theres 100s out there, compare the market is a bit of a rip off. Just get quotes online from the companys themselves and then ring them up and play them off with each other, you will save a mint.

Quick question.

Does car insurance go down much when a person turns 21?

It has a bigger effect when you reach 25. Have you done anything like PassPlus or other driver training?
That too can have an impact on your premium.
The local IAM (institute of advanced motorists) can refund the cost of the training for younger people once they pass their IAM test.
It's well worth looking into.
PM me if you need any other info on driver training etc.

Yeah. When I first passed my test I was saying £231 a month (With pass plus). That was only a pay monthly scheme - which was still the cheapest.

Funnily enough, after a few months I started getting more competitive quotes. Direct Line were a godsend with £160 a month. In a few months i'll have a years no claims and a few months later, be 21. Hoping i'll be paying no more than £80 a month

Will look into this IAM test thanks.

Pay around £230 each on two 1.6L cars, which are both fully comp with maximum no claims, protected no claims, legal aid...Direct line.

The best deal im getting at the moment is £475 for the year. Thats for a Laguna 1.8 RT Sport...

Not bad like!! think i'll take it up. With Hastings.
