The pain of watching Everton eased by a weekend off due to internationals. Can England destroy Kazakhstan, will Wales finally win a meaningful game and can Scotland beat Norway?

C) Scotland 2 Norway 2: For as great as they played last year, Scotland had a disproportionate amount of luck on their side, I think it catches up with them a little this year. Hope they win though.

I wonder if Ashley Young is at home thinking: does Gerrard have to kill a 5 year old with one of his errant shots before he even gets criticized let alone dropped from the starting lineup? All he does is hang around the box trying to spray inaccurate 40 yard passes and then once every 15 minutes he has a brainless, sorry courageous, run into the box in which he flings himself to the turf after he's easily dispossessed in hopes for a foul. england commanded from start to finishes but were lack luster in the final 3rd, no ideas at all and it was from poor defending and cock-ups leading to the goals. I was not convinced at all.
