John McGovern

Player Valuation: £25k
Afternoon all,

My name is John, originally from Scotland however now living in London. Grew up supporting Celtic but always had a soft spot for Everton as I had family members who followed them. As I've grown up I've become fonder of Everton especially through the Moyes era and was over the moon when they appointed Martinez as I was impressed with the work he did at Wigan.

Nowadays I always try to get to Goodison 2-3 times a season but now that I'm living in London I'm hoping to get up a bit more regularly and even try and catch some games when they're playing down here if I ever manage to get tickets.

Past favourite players include Alan Stubbs (for obvious reasons), Tim Cahill and despite a questionable reputation during his early career, was a big fan of Phil Neville, his drive and work ethic in a blue shirt.

Was over the moon when we signed Aiden McGeady, another ex Celtic player and someone I played against when I was a teenager. His ability is there to see and knew from the second he signed that he'd shine once settled and I'm hoping it continues. The current squad is looking great with the likes of McCarthy & Naismith attacking in addition to Lukaku signing perm alongside Eto'o.

I'll try and contrinute as much as I can and will be looking for tickets when we're visiting London, so please keep me in mind.

Cheers,
John

Welcome mate, your namesake was a boss player

Post often so people know who are you are and check out the tickets thread occassionally before the London games and you should be in with a decent chance of pickng the odd ticket up.

Anyway, standards are slipping here.
Where do you stand on adding slices of pineapple to a pizza ?

I think we can safely assume that if he likes Phil Neville, he puts the entire contents of his fruitbowl on to his pizza.

Edit: In any case, welcome John! We can't all be perfect.

Knew the Neville statement would go down well...

Thought I'd got away with the pizza question, I'm strictly savoury. Give me meat, moderate veg and plenty of spice and I'm happy! None of this fruit nonsense
