Australia lost 3-1. Cahill came on at half time and 2 minutes later assisted a Mark Viduka goal which made it 1-1, Iraq went on to add 2 further goals though to make it 3-1.

Actually he passed the ball to Emerton who raised it to Viduka, Cahil was next to Viduka trying to get the header.

Australia looked so weak, it seems they will be out from the first round, good news, Cahil will be back sooner then expected.

well cahill has got what he needed, break, time at home, match practise now mission accomplished from an everton point of view. lets get him back as soon as we can and fit.
