Player Valuation: £60m
Preston manager Alan Irvine has rejected an approach from West Brom and will remain at Deepdale.
Irvine had been targeted by the Baggies following Tony Mowbray's decision to leave The Hawthorns and join Celtic.
But Preston chairman Derek Shaw told the club's website: "Over the weekend I was approached by West Bromwich Albion.
"Alan was given permission to speak to West Brom, but has chosen to remain as Preston's manager, which we are extremely pleased about."

Irvine will be in the Premiership at some point.

Whether it be with Preston or with another club.

I agree though that he strikes me like Moyes where he wants to accomplish what he set out to do at Preston.
