Sean Ashley

Player Valuation: £8m
When you think of the parallels between these two. You got to say its very similar.

Played for Leicester and Spurs
No league title wins
Played Abroad
Joined a team that just won the league title and in his first season came second even though they scored bags full of goals
The Manger of the foreign teams (Kompany/Venables) played most of their footy in UK
Both those mangers went from a second division team in England to an European giant based on style of play not results.
Scored loads for England

I admire him to be honest, to many go chasing money or perceived glory. He stuck with Spurs for better or worse because they were his team and i admire that.

In an era where sporting integrity around the PL is massively in question in my opinion, i think hes made of the right stuff and good to see.

Going to city and winning a title - would it really mean anything, not really in my opinion.

You can contrive success now rather then earn it.

Who will be considered the greater player Jack Grealish or Harry Kane.

Kane is a better all round player.

Lineker was dynamite running onto the ball and in the box.

Kane hasn`t got the pace that Lineker had, but has everything else and brings much more to the team.

If Kane had gone to somewhere like Real Madrid or City, he`d have got a lot more attention.

Well Kane because he’s way better? I get what you’re getting at but they just aren’t the same level.

He’s playing for Bayern Munich? I mean yes he’d get more attention at Real Madrid one of biggest sporting institutions in the entire world but it isn’t like Bayern don’t have a ton of eyes on them. He’s not getting plaudits for this season because his team got decisively beaten by Leverkusen and threw away a semi final.

He literally went to a side that had just won 11 league titles in a row and on mega bucks? lol
