Is it me or are p2p streaming programs cack?

Watched the game today on TVU player (well sort of) - is it me or are these programs utter cack (tv ants,sopcast,ppmate etc) - thankfully just recently the majority of our games have been on media player based streams which are generally OK.

But if there are any techys out there who understand the mechanics of data streaming, why do these programs always crash and crash again so regularly - and why does it usually happen just as a corner is coming in or we have a one on one with the other teams goalie

Suppose in the end you don't get anything for nothing in this life

The TVU stream today was one of the best ones I've seen so far

Must be virgin media broadband thats cack then

to be honest, i had trouble with virgin, but at the time I only had a 2meg line.

now i'm on sky max at getting around 13meg its been great.

also it makes a difference for all p2p if you have your computer optimized, theres a patch you can download that helps.

If you havent optimized it pm me to remind me and i'll try and find you a link for the patch!

apparently Virgin media are upgrading all 2meg connections to 10meg - for free in may - that may help for next season

i watched it on tvu and on 2meg virgin and it was fine! (was on 10meg but wont go there ******s)
