What is worse this guy might have come sniffing around GP, heaven forbid. I know I would like investment, but there is investment and time wasters.
 
Fortress fund never made it past the fund raising stage whereas thaksin has the money but it's frozen.
I have big reservation about former strong handed politician running a football club. Will he run the club like a dictator or someone who is passionate about the club and football itself? Maybe we'll see Putin taking over MK Dons in the near future.
 
thaksin was a mobile communications mogul before a politician. his thaiwanese premiership ensured he payed no tax on his fantastic wealth.

With every takover i think the game is becoming more and more muddy, where are all of these billionaires from why the hell would you invest money is a sports club the other side of the world? What will they do if the club hits bad times? What will happen when every club is owned by a billionaire? What impact does it have on the fans, the values they hold, the ethinicity of the indigenous area and identity of the club.

Just watch, some clubs are going to implode in the next few years, the cracks are even beging to show at Chelsea!

This may sound strange to all, but in the current climate of "annoucements to the stock exchange" "tentative offers" and "viewing of clubs books", i really hope Bill stays on untill this trend has passed.

Expect Man City to be relegated next season, theyve really taken their eye of the ball.

I have heard about this steel tycoon that wants to take over Birmingham. 5th richest man around by all accounts, his fortune dwarfs Abromavich's. Anyone got his number. I will bell him and educate him about investment in passion as opposed to yo-yos.
 
I also believe the reason no one is coming to try to buy us is because unlike the other shitty club ethics around, our Bill will not relinquish control because someone opens their purse strings. He will not leave us open to be dumped on when the hard times hit. that's why we are unique.
