Is there a new site suggestions thread?

Because I have a suggestion, albeit small, that I think would improve discussion on the site. To cut to the chase, I'm a member of another board and they have a simple feature on their site which shows you if you've been quoted or sent a private message as soon as you sign in. It looks like this:

If you click on the word 'Quoted', it brings up list of all the times you've been quoted. As I mentioned before, it's only a small feature, but I think this site should look into the idea of implementing it. The discussion would probably improve (I'm not suggesting it's bad now by the way) because nobody would miss any times they are quoted.

I proposed this a while back and the majority said it would be notification overkill.

There is a modification that allows this feature - I've requested an addition that allows the option to make the default setting to 'OFF' - to avoid the over notification concern.

Good shout though pal.

It'd be ace as the OP has put it, but if it was normal notifications I'd just get excited that I was being repped and then feel disappointed when it was only a quote.

I think this advice only gives you the admin or a web developer because i have no idea how to make a web site and in which software we can make a web site so i am unable to give you any suggestion about to make web site you should be contact with any developer to make a web site and i think this is better for you to avoid from our own made suggestions.....
