Mikel Arteta is the second best player in the league this season, after christiano ronaldo, Arteta is the only other player that comes close.

In the running for my Everton player of the season, Arteta is in the mix with lescott and johnno, and if Howard performs as magnificently as he did against villa then he might just have a shout.

Agreed Suits, Arteta is a class player, and as for TH, he gave his all last night, some unbelivable goalkeeping, could easily have lost but for his heroics.

Amazingly I would have blamed himfor their goal. Looked to me like he was going to go in with his hands but changed his mind at the last second and went with the feet. However, without him it could have been ugly yesterday!
