Player Valuation: £50m
Its easier to find investment when you dont need it compared to when you desperatley do.

A huge outlay to start with would mean an extended period before seeing any actual profit - we need a stadium, we need a larger squad, we need to raise our profile home and abroad to increase the customer base and make us worthy of high profile sponsorship.

You could plunder over £100 million into everton and barely get anywhere.

well said suits but if and when the new ground comes how many seats would you put in the place. i think 50,000 is a good starting place cuz we have got to make sure we fill it EVERY WEEK. then add on later.

I dont know kirkby and knowsley so well, in fact - i dont know them at all.

The biggest factor about a new stadium for ME is transportation, will there be a nearby trainstation? or one built?

My only grumble about match day is the busses, they really piss me off - let me take you through it.

train into lime street, not bad - could be a lot quicker, and if the train was direct and therefor didnt pick up 13 year old alcoholics it would be perfect.

so bus stop 6 where a lot of other blues are waiting, then a 30 minute 3 mile journey through the continuous road works that is the liverpool road system, every stop, every twisting corner, every bump, every hot humid journey - its a [Poor language removed] nightmare everytime.

if your lucky enough to get the bus back into city centre from goodison, it means over paying and being crammed into a bus that is overful and makes battery hens look comfortable.

good roads, good rail, good busses will mean fans will find it easier to get to the new stadium and spend time there enjoying the david france museum, spending in the club shop, eating and drinking, boozing and taking in the atmosphere instead of wasting time travelling.

As for the capacity, it depends on corporate facilities and what percentage gets taken up.

there are the obvious games we could sell out by multiples of three, i'd like to see prices drop, i'd rather sell out 55k at £20 a seat, than get 27.5k at £40 a seat.

proper family areas and proper child concessions would go a long way to appeasing the everton faithful, a 20 minute guided museum tour operating before and after the game could work - groups of about 30 for instance.

If we could make the area around the stadium a day out for everyone, it would be perfect, big shopping mall and restaurants for her.... stadium, football and beer for him. It doesnt have to stop in evenings, the printworks in manchester would be something to aim for, it pulls thousands in every weekend and they spend millions.

To make it work, it cant just be a stadium and tesco vision - painted in grey.

On a related note, lets get into aesthetics,

the colosseum in rome, a huge arena, a majestic sight, decorated with statues of its greats and romes leaders.

at one end, i'd like to see the dixie statue stood proud above the entrances, at the other end, i'd like to see alan balls family unveil a statue of him at the trinity end - i hate to say it - no one lives forever kendal and harvey to join him immortalised in bronze there.

Pure genius. I would make one change, have an underground railway station directly below the stadium to cut down on-foot time. There are security implications for this today though, but something that would be able to work through.

You are completely right about making it a complete family day out, all designed at extracting as many notes from the family coffers as possible.
