Top strikers bust a gut to get on the end of any scraps they can. DCL has no hunger to score goals. That along with the fact that he can’t strike through a ball cleanly, adds up to a 5 goal per season striker.

“But we don’t create any chances for him”. He shows no appetite to get on the end of crosses or fashion chances for himself.

He is probably holding back 5% to not push his body to failure. DCL game was always playing to his athletic strength. Not sure he is doing that again

Ah Jack Harrison, with his 1 good game in every 10 form. Get used to it. He runs his socks off, but it’s just never consistent. I was disappointed when he left us to sign for Everton on loan, but as it happens he wouldn’t even get into our starting 11. It’s been a refreshing change us being in the championship. It was depressing being in the premier league, hoping that we are the 4th worst team after 38 games. Might do you lot good to go down, reset and start afresh.

Hes dreadful.

Surely Gnonto (the one we actually wanted) must be levels better than him?
