i couldnt really guess mate, i don't think we've touched much [squad wise] on the tv money to be honest. So a bit of that for sure.

Though my mate did say he's mainly just asking for a goalie and a winger, anything else would be a last minute thing i feel.

I still think we'll get Marshall towards the end of the window, so maybe £5m on him. If we could get a good, consistent winger in after that then I'd be pleased with the window.

Hes already said no ones going, in regards to the coleman, barkley, stones rumours

I would think reading between the lines that no one is coming either, so Meagher94 don't hold out too much hope.

I think we will stick with Robles and Griffith until Howard fit again. Any GK decision will probably be left to Summer window.

If I was Roberto, deciding where to spend whatever money we have would be wrecking my head.

Since he's the manager though I would hope he has more of a plan than me lol

How much would you like to think there is, in your opinion? Obviously you can't know for certain.
1. Goalkeeper
2. Centre half
3. Left footed winger

Anyone could see that these are needed for us to even have a chance at getting top 7.

Cant see us getting anyone in thought we might have got a gk in but think martinez is happy with robles and howard will be back soon.

It will be exactly like it is normally (and how it should be)

We have a list of players that we are interested in (for a number of positions) and if any of those become available in any window, then we move for them. I don't really want to see expensive gambles made on players or players who aren't good enough brought in because we panicked.

It's got to be good solid well researched transfers or nothing.

I think that we need a creative central midfield player before we need a goalkeeper or centrehalf in this window. We have Jagielka, Stones,Alcaraz, Distin and Browning to get us through to the summer. We could play Barry there at a push and if Jagielka and Stones stay fit, then I think that is the first choice pairing regardless of which player is signed. Without our departure from the FA cup the number of games potentially left to play has also reduced.

I think Robles is starting to show the ability that some os believed he had and Howard must be no more than three or four weeks of a return. A signing of a third choice older experienced keeper is all that is needed again until the summer by which time we will know much more about Robles as a goalkeeper.

We need a winger.

We need a creative midfielder. Gibson is the closest but is seemingly always injured, McCarthy is dynamic but not particulary creative, nor is Barry or Besic. Barkley is more in the mould of a young Steven Gerrard , strong powerful , a driving force but not particularly creative or at least not yet.
Osman and Pienaar were moderately creative but they are rarely available now.

Don't think anyone expected anything different to that mate.

Only time I've seen Everton panic is with Drenthe and Straq.

But it's not like he's not had ages to 'research'.
