Tried 2mins of Celtic game. [Poor language removed]. 10 prem scouts there apparently. Hazard a guess who for?

Van Dijk. Hendrie. Commons.

To be honest I'm not bothered how he's doing with Seville, but that clip shows me he's still doing the same infuriating pointless showboating he's was here 18 months ago with no end product and he's not progressed.

You're right that he offered us something different, but it wasn't as part of a structed pattern of play Martinez wants. He's an individuaist and is selfish, if he cut that out and concentrated more on being a team player he could still be a future star. But judging by his lack of progress he's not figured that out yet and it's looking less likely.

ffs lad, are you being serious?

del is the type of player that scares defenders. as opposed to McGeady who just makes them laugh. del always had everton fans on the edge of there seats because of what he could do. yes he could frustrate but he is 18 or so ffs. If we had him in our squad this season we would definitely in a better position in the leauge. Some people...

And he's been injured for most of the season as well.

Baines has got 11 and some people on here claim he's played poor and should be dropped for a 21 year old with 2 games under his belt. I don't really get your point.

David Silva has played 15 games and got 2 assists. For Man City.

Deulofeu has 7 assists and bareley gets a start for Sevilla.

I'm not the one saying he has no end product.

I'm sorry @MoutsGoat for calling you fatboy, I never realised you where so sensitive. I won't call you fatboy again and hope that others on here don't call you fatboy incase it offends you. I was only joking by calling you fatboy and hoped you'd see the funny side but now I know you don't like it and it hurts your feelings you can rest assured I will never call you fatboy again, or indeed I will never call anyone on here fatboy again in a joking manner.

Again please accept my sincerest apologies for calling you fatboy @MoutsGoat.

Love how Dels now the third coming of christ again, remember all yous bitching he had no end product and we cant carry such a luxury player and so on.

Would love him back but for the cash it would take theres a few players id have ahead of him if they would be willing to come

I didn't. I rated him for what he was and what he offered us. Never ever said he was perfect which he obviously wasn't.

We clearly miss a player like him now.

If anything people under rated him.

Amen to all of the above. I thought he was quality, not arsed what anyone says and he is EXACTLY what we need tight now which is quick, unpredictable and those 2 strengths give opposing defenders nightmares

No i think it was pretty much vastly overrated. I think mostly because people expected him to be ronaldo esque, when in the end he wasn't anything like that but people (not saying you mate!) refused to believe he wasn't this superstart.

In the end he was nice to have but he only had about four decent games for us. Unfortunately for him when he DID appear to pick up form he got injured and then after that he was pretty dismal.

After the injury he constantly ran into players, lost the ball, sometimes was so lazy that he wouldn't control the ball and it'd roll out for a throw in. And his final ball was usually pretty dross.

We miss someone like him for width and pace, but not exactly him. I don't think he'll ever be messi or ronaldo class but if he works as hard as the talent he has deserves he could become someone like robben, which is not a bad feat at all.

I'd have him back on loan, maybe next season but i wouldn't want us splashing loads on him. There are better players at the moment that'd be better for us.

Agree to disagree mate.

People say he was over rated and had no end product. Well he got 5 assists and 4 goals in about 11 games for us there or thereabouts.

He won us points that the players in his place this season are not doing. (Thinking Arsenal and Sunderland games especially).

Maybe he was over rated before he arrived but I'm not sure how as not much was known about him really.

But certainly looking back people under rate what he did do for us. Plus the fact it was his first ever proper season at a proper club and he's just a kid.

He's certainly never going to be Messi or Ronaldo. But I'd hope nobody thought he would be!

Totally agree though, it's not necessarily him we are missing. But a player like him certainly.
