I wouldn't spend too much in January. Prices are inflated. We need to be patient. Some of our best players are just kids. That's our golden generation. Fill in around them with an aim to have the strongest possible team when Ross, Rom, and Stones are in their mid-20's.
The only problem is that you're assuming we keep all these kids. With Stones, Ross, Rom, Jimmy Mac, Besic, etc. we have a spine filled with scary potential for years to come. Unfortunately we may not have the cash to keep them all. If we do and we can fill in around them as you reference, we're going to be very good in about 3 years. However, we need some new wingers regardless. If there are any good ones for a fair price, I say snatch them up sooner rather than later.

we'd get enough money for just one of them to buy a new spine player, possibly two.

Don't care. I'd prefer to keep them. How's that whole buying a ton of new players to replace 1 key one worked for Spurs or Liverpool? Obviously ours aren't at that level yet, but the concept remains.

I'm sold.

How much day reckon?

He's got a €10 million release clause but the rumour is he's going to Leverkusen which is where he started and I think he was born there aswell. Plus can't see us spending in January considering Martinez apparently doesn't like the window existing.

would like our scouts to look at that Nathan Redmond down at Norwich, not sure how well he's doing at the moment, but Norwich aren't looking like sure fire promotion hopefuls this season, probably be a bit pricey, but perhaps there might be a chance,

Don't think he's really improved much since he was at Birmingham really.

A good player on his day, pacey and tricky. But way too inconsistent.

If we (or anyone) could get the best out of him more regualrly he'd be a decent option, but for now i'd say he's better off staying at Norwich and trying to improve his game.
