It's absolutely impossible to obtain any 'value' in January, remember? We are much better off neglecting this season and waiting to invest in the Summer, because everyone knows that players become really cheap in the Summer.

That's true actually, we've paid about £1.5m too much for McGeady

Can just imagine having Mirallas coming in from the left and Vela from the right. Im sure i read he rejected the chance to go back to Arsenal in the summer because he feared about game time. Can see him attracting a few CL clubs in the summer.

Always thought he was a second striker myself, not a right winger, unless you mean the 4-3-3 type of winger instead off a flat 4-4-2.
Besides im sure Soceidad paid big money to remove his buy back clause.

I would love Bolasie (can be frustrating) or someone like Maxime Lestienne if he wants to come back to europe.

I'd love us to go for Samu Castillejo and Ignacio Camacho from Málaga, my spanish side. Pair available for £8m combined. That Castillejo is an absolute belter.

I want tons of new exciting players. This is how January and Summer are going to go;

Out - McGeady, Kone, Gibson, Alcaraz, Osman, Howard

In - Begovic, Delph, Kampl, Cleverley, Vela, Milner, Schar.

Easy that.

We dont need more wide players. We have Mirallas, Pienaar, McGeady and Atsu.

One of these is apparently not good enough, and in any case is gone in May. Another may not fit in the XI. That leaves two for the XI, each of whom has a questionable injury history/age. Can't see how this side is filled up with wide players, to be honest.

There is no way Martinez will be prioritising bringing in more in January, regardless of what's thought about them on here.

This seems most likely, unfortunately. I've still got my fingers crossed for Schurrle.

We should, however, push the boat out and get in a proper No.10.

Lukaku can get us goals on a regular basis only if we sit deep and play on the counter attack. If we're to make use of his finishing Martinez is going to have to buy in a string-puller who operates just in behind him. Quite obviously we haven't got that player at the club - or if we have, he hasn't been played there.

Unless Naismith moves wide or up top or to another club, can't see him bringing anyone in to play #10, especially given that he likes to use Osman and Eto'o in that position when needed.

I can't help but feel we wouldn't even get one of them for £8m but my Spanish footy knowledge isn't as good as it once was.
