You dont see Lennon as creative?

A few Spurs players have benefitted from him in the past.

It would be interesting to see his assist, chances created stats Tbf. I just don't remember him being the type of winger that beats his FB and puts the ball on a six pence for a striker.

I'm not even a Spurs fan but watching them over years he used to frustrate me to death when he couldn't beat the first man with his cross, or when he wouldn't take players on even though he's alot quicker than the opposing player.

But if we sign him, good luck to him and I hope he does well for us and gives us something different to what he was offering Spurs!

"Apparently Jermaine Jenas has received a text message from the player himself confirming that Aaron Lennon is signing for Everton."

From the Guardian live blog

...just looked at his Wiko account. Youngest ever Premier League player when he made his debut, nominated PFA Young Player of the year on 3 occasions, Spurs player of the year. Bit of pedigree there, count me in.

If there's nothing more to the Lennon deal (no Mirallas involvement) then i think it's he'll make a good signing; works tirelessly back and forward and could really help Coleman in that sense. Only hope, as i said that there's nothing in there to do with Mirallas and that this signing won't prevent us from signing a younger/better winger in the near future
