And they say money doesn't buy you success, well we are proof of that. But it doesn't help that 70m of this money and approx 300k a week in wages was wasted on 3 number 10s vying for the same position.
 
We need a first choice CB and a backup(maybe), we need a LB(Tierney), we need wingers and we need a striker.

Half of the money we spent last summer should have gone towards those positions.
 
If we're still in the midst of a relegation scrap by January, likely as of present we can't score goals and can't keep them out (minor problems), we are going to struggle like hell to get actual quality through the door. I think one of the only places we might be able to shop is Celtic, double swoop for Tierney and Dembele?

Martinez was a while ago and actually gave us some good players, just because Koeman ousted them I think thats a bit unfair
