He is mate I agree.

But where does he fit In? That's the point, he doesn't fit into the team because of the rest of them. And we aren't getting rid of some of them anytime soon so it's a mismatched player.

We could sign Ronaldo but play siggurdson Rooney and klassen behind him and he doesn't fit . There is no effort to make a team that fits, just keep signing players and hope they click in some way despite the manager. Considering the amounts spent it is ridiculous.
He fits in on the right, he’ll do better there than any other wide player we’ve got. He’s adds much needed pace and goal threat.

Except he can't do anything if he is getting the ball to feet at the half way line and no space to run into mate. Walcott can't beat 3 players every time he gets the ball, there is no outlet for him, no-one playing him in behind, no-one for a 1-2 etc. We are playing with him literally hoping he can so something off his own back that wins us a game when the entire tactic is counter productive to that.

For example, where is vlasic , siggurdson, Rooney, gueye to name a few when he gets the ball? Nowhere near him. And when they are they are static at the half way line with no urgency to break forward with him.

Walcott can be a massive player for us if we actually play to his strengths but we clearly aren't going to under allardyce.

Meanwhile Martina is messing about at the back and is a massive liability yet we have no urgency to fix that

Moyes has a heck of an eye for a player in fairness, can see them over taking us making shrewd signings if we continue to put money imto the hands of clueless people like Walsh and Sam.
Here yes Moyes did, at Sunderland his eye for a player was buying ex Everton ones. The problem with West Ham not many want to go there.

Why, who has he signed at West Ham that we should be worried about?

Not who he has signed more who he is looking at - Mario, Dendoncker who Pearce went to scout tonight etc.

People laugh it off but Villa and Newcastle had more money than us when we were under Kenwright yet we consistenly punched above them as Moyes made shrewd signings whilst those clubs spent money on expensive dross - sound familiar?

Agree entirely

Apart from the fact Gueye hasn't played with Theo yet, obvs

But we need to be using him off the shoulder of the striker or, like you say, looking to play him in behind

He's at his best running onto things. For that we're going to need to play Rooney deep. And it simply just requires a bit of a tweak.

Sam won't do it though.

No one would deny that our general play needs to improve. That’s the case with or without Walcott though.
