Sad this has all turned out this way. I'm sure Clarkson will reappear somewhere. Both May or Hammond haven't the voracity to take the lead on the show. I have a bad feeling it has run it's course for the near future. I will certainly miss the chemistry between the three always a interesting take on motors even though I couldn't bloody well afford most of them on display except perhaps the C'D.

As sad as I am to hear the news, there was no other possible outcome. You just can't assault people and expect to get away with it. I'm not saying Clarkson expected to get away with it, but many of his fans did.

I'll miss the Top Gear specials more than anything else - some of the best and funniest television the UK ever made.

Hopefully something like Netflix can pick it up once they realise just how big the market is.
