Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck has had a bizarre dig at rivals Liverpool.

Writing in his programme notes ahead of the 6-0 win against West Brom, Buck wrote: "Joe Cole has gone to a smallish club somewhere north of the M25."
He then repeated the barb, adding: "There are some new faces at the club. We welcome Yossi Benayoun who arrives from that 'smallish club north of the M25'."

So it appears Chelsea consider themselves a big club now, my, how money gets people deluded.
Just wait until the Russian gets bored.

I remember Cole saying something along the lines of "got nothing against the manager, one day i'll tell the truth behind why I had to leave" (or to that effect).
Anyone find out more? Seems bizarre to **** off a good servant to the club, let alone not resign him

Chelsea have been a good team for what? 5 years? Thanks to? Oil money?

Come on. Their board is as prick filled as city's.

Hasn't Kenyon just left Chelsea?

RE: Cole, and Buck's comments, together with Liverpool i simply say ' birds of a feather, flock together..'.

its usually us getting popped at by small clubs- who cares what chelsea think. theyll never be the size of dem mugs over the park. sure does make a nice change tho coz them lot are generally sucked up to for some reason

If the Cole we saw on Sunday was the same JC that John Terry said is the only creative player we had then England overachieved at the World cup this year.

sent off, driving offence, possible twitter abuse from Arshavin, missed penalty, not a great week huh

still, better than Messi
