I think the Spanish coach might want him to have a season in goal for a team for the first time in his career before he bins off someone like Reina.

I think he has 12 clean sheets in 31 apps for the club in the PL.

Of those 31 appearances, 13 were last season when the players were throwing Martinez under a bus.

I think it looks quite good tho.

When I was looking at those stats for Joel something stood out that I forgot to mention. Remember that dreadful run of 1 win in 10 games last autumn. Guess who was in goal for the one win (which was also the only clean sheet we kept during that run).
