He's a decent keeper, but under Ron we demand better than decent. Joel will do fine wherever he goes.

I just never felt comfortable when Tim used to collect crosses . Robles may never have had the reflexes of Howard but his overall game including his command over his defence was better. Over the last season when I saw his name on the teamsheet it felt nice to relax a little .

Tim Howard was a very excellent shot stopper - if he had been a great all round keeper SAF would have never sent him to us he stayed too long too - saying that out of all the other UNT rejects - he was easily the best - now we have Rooney ;lets hope he breaks the mould like Timmy did as Gibson, Cleverly, Neville, etc never did!

Joel is likely off, which I think is harsh. But he deserves to be a clubs number 1 somewhere so

I'd like him as backup but obviously he's not interested in sitting on the bench, and that's to be applauded. He was good last season and I like his attitude, so all the best and good luck from me
