Having read the accounts of the extremely violent behaviour which led to the conviction, I'm asking myself what kind of sanction the FA will impose on him. If players and coaches can be suspended just for speaking out of turn, what kind of ban would be appropriate for a player whose actions really have brought football into disrepute. Two years ?

I would like to know how Keegan can send a letter of support for Barton to the court stating what a model pro he is and how successful the anger management course has been surely he should be done for perjury or something.May be Newcastle will support him but the average fan wont.(n)
 
Keegan's just trying to protect his investment ! He doesn't want to be paying 40k a week to someone who's in the slammer - or who's subject of an FA ban.
 

That's mean an end of his football career, isn't it?
He is young, talented, but he's done were like cancer to his own life.
