it dont make sense to me, if you are going to give a manager a kings ransum to spend then you have to give him time to mould them into a team. not sack him after 3 games and get someone who wants differant players in!!

but i think they might have gambled above there budget this year, they thought with the arse selling henry and not buying to great that they could defo get that 4th spot and i think jol might have put this point foward to start with. so now after a [Poor language removed] start they (the board ) are shitting them selves as they cant afford not to get in the top 4.
or they can afford it but cant buy jack for a couple of years if they dont.
