Kenny, Tosun and Bernard. That’s £30m in the bank.

I imagine Tosun is less relevant FFP wise unless someone is silly enough to lash £12m+ on the guy. The other two are free and so are all profit. Still really want to see the back of Tosun though.

The good news is at the end of the season we save about £200k per week just by virtue of Walcott, Bolasie, Besic, Pennington and Connolly being out of contract. That’s £10m a year pissed up the wall. That’ll help.

£31m plus for Kean too. Quite a bit of cash to reinvest.

It feels a bit cheap especially for the January window. I like Kenny but I would negotiate for what we can and move him on. He only plays one position and is 3rd choice - and that’s a position that we still need to upgrade.

So you don't think he's dross?

He also received said contract a whole 3 years ago. This Summer he enters his last 12 months with the club.
I didn’t think he was dross when he got that contract and it looked like the club didn’t either, if he got a five year contract then the club must have thought he had an awful lot of potential. I’ve never thought Jonjo was dross, made his debut as a young lad in a team that was struggling badly, he never got a good run in the team, in and out but never gave less than his best, went on loan to a German club in their top division and was an ever present in that team, came back here, was doing okay then got injured in a league cup game and hasn’t had a full game since. If the rumours are true about Burnley he’s staying in the premier league, dross, your word not mine, usually heads for the lower leagues. He’ll get a nice three contract with Burnley and a very nice signing on fee along with good wage, not bad for dross, although I think he’ll earn a good living in the premier league for longer than his time with Burnley, that’s if he goes there.

Dross

£7 million is a good fee. He can't get a game at Right Back. His only appearances recently have been to waste time at the end of games. He's not the worst player in the squad but he clearly isn't good enough. If we are to progress we need players playing in their natural positions not versatile players covering because the back up isn't good enough.

And the rest I suspect, won’t get much change out of £200k with just Walcott & Bolasie.... I imagine Besic won’t be much shy of £50k, and the other pair maybe £20k between them.....
