Come on. He was OK. Let’s not get carried away.
Jonjoe kept a good player in Raphinha largely quiet and presumably contributed to him being subbed at half time.

He did two delightful Cruyff turns in a short period of time, made the equal most interceptions (alone with Allan and Keane), worked hard throughout the match and did it all in an unfamiliar position and having been consistently slated throughout the season.

Personally I class that as significantly better than “OK”.

Obviously would be great if he can duplicate that in upcoming matches but honestly just going to enjoy a good performance from him, and the rest of the team, for the evening.
