I've got to apologise to him, I've constantly said he is championship level. If he can keep that form up in his unnatural position he will deserve another contract as a back up/rotation option.

Has any manager actually invested time with this lad (as in training)? Possibly Baines and Cole can improve the lad? Has he ever played CB? The solution to some of the FFP woes is to find value in what we already have in terms of squad utility players. A new contract for JJK is a lot cheaper than a signing such as Gbamin or Delph, plus we know that he isn't injury prone.
He is 5 ft 9.

Will be a free agent in 4,5 months, gotta renew it.
I'm no student of players' contracts like some on here, but it seems to me that any player showing any talent or promise, whether 1st team or a youngster, has a contract which expires in about 20 minutes, while all the highly paid dross have contracts expiring sometime after their 65th birthdays. Dunno who has been in charge of all this, but they haven't been doing a right good job.

Played above himself yesterday hopefully he can contribute in the coming weeks but he's not a premier league footballer in my humble opinion.

That being said am made up for him yesterday, he's living the dream so to speak.
