I think the time is right for Jordan to fulfill his potential at a club geared to doing that.
Don't get me wrong, as Chrissie Hynde rightly said. He's unquestionably our best player and will be a huge loss, but he's the only truly sellable asset we have on the playing staff and I cannot see why a player of his ability would stay with us - whether we stay up or not - when his direct rivals and inferiors are playing Champions League.
We're going to need money anyway. He's going to need to develop his career. He's too young to be playing his best years for a struggler.

I think that's a bit unfair. To be entirely honest, I see a lot of similarities between the two because he's a great shot stopper but has a brain fart or two in him.
If he can develop his maturity and consistency, which arguably Pickford has done, he'll be a top keeper.
