Just watched the '95 Cup Final as part of my personal build-up to the weekend...

Few things caught the eye:

• meaty tackles going in on both sides and play being waved on
• players getting up from said tackles and playing on
• Joe Parkinson - what a hero
• short back and sides and floppy on top
• young players Neville G, Butt, Giggs, Scholes, Keane and did I catch a young Beckham next to Cantona at the end?
• two subs
• so much space and so much time on the ball
• but, having said that, we were playing classic Moyes close them down football
• Southall catching a shot out of the air, rather than tipping it or punching it
• Limpar doing Ronaldo step-overs
• crowd shots almost exclusively (until the final whistle) of Utd fans - some things never change
• Jason Kearton - I'd forgotten he was ever with us

One of his best games... stealing the ball off Ince a couple of times was great.

Looking back now, how do you remember your Everton career?
I have very fond memories of my time at Everton. The team spirit we had was the best I had with any team I played in - even better than Arsenal. I had three great years there and made a lot of friends. We managed to win the FA Cup which was something special, and I always go back once a year to see Everton play. I miss everything about Everton.
